“My mother was a resident at Willow House Care Home for several years until health issues meant that she needed nursing care. My sister and I wanted to let you know how much we appreciated the care and attention that was given to her by the staff during her stay at Willow House. Sue Chivers and her team were always very approachable and we felt that not only did they care about our mother but go to know us and our families very well. We were always made welcome on our visits and felt that many of the staff became more like friends to us than just carers to our mother.”

“My mother entered the home for respite when the family went on holiday. She suffers with Alzheimer’s so was not able to look after herself. The feedback I had from other family members who had visited, said she had settled in well. Due to the deterioration in her condition, I requested if she could stay. When I visited the home myself I could see why she had settled in. The carers were dedicated to their work and you could see the level of care was exceptional. The food smell coming from the kitchen was mouth-watering and also drinks were readily available. The accommodation is a room with an en-suite bathroom. You can bring your own furniture or room furnishings and the maintenance man will hang pictures to make it more homely. They also have regular events for the residents to get involved in. I can't fault the staff nothing is too much trouble for them.”

“My relation has been a resident in Willow House for over three years and is receiving good care from Sue the manager and her excellent team.”

“My mother Ann has been at Willow for 8 years. She is now 99 and is happy and comfortable here. The staff are excellent. We know that she has been well cared for and that if there are any problems I am alerted immediately. It is like leaving mum in a family environment. We know that whenever we visit, we will find her looking smart, in matching skirt and blouse (purple is her favourite!) with her hair done. This home from home cannot be faulted from accommodation to staff interaction with the residents.”
